I enjoy may daily dose of good coffee. Even though I am willing to pay a premium for “the good stuff”, there is a limit to what I would pay. Kopi Luwak or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries that have been eaten by animals and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet. The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This coffee sells for between $120 and $600 per pound. A typical cup of this coffee runs around $50. Yikes!
